As part of our overall commitment to having our youth re-enter society, DJJ has developed community-based residential services that keep adjudicated youth (youth who have been found guilty) in the least restrictive environment possible. These “camps” were created in conjunction with private providers for youth on transfer, probation or parole, and focus on marine, wilderness and special treatment programs.

All of these sites provide on-site schooling, as well as access to vocation/job training, evidence-based interventions and aftercare services.
